Right now, children in Gaza and Bilad Al Shaam are going to bed hungry.

The bombs have destroyed their homes. The war has taken their food.

As we break our fast with dates and warm meals, countless families in Gaza and Shaam face iftar with empty hands, unsure if they will eat at all.

Gaza: A Starved Nation

Gaza, once full of life, has become an open-air prison under years of blockade. The latest war has left 2 million on the brink, with homes, hospitals, and food supplies wiped out. The ceasefire offers only a brief pause—no real solution—and no one knows how long it will last.

🔸 80% of the population relies on aid to survive.

🔸 Markets and bakeries are destroyed, making food impossible to find.

🔸 Families are resorting to eating leaves, grass, and even animal fodder just to survive.

🔸 More than half of Gaza’s population are children—starving, displaced, and deeply traumatized.

Shaam: A Forgotten Nation

Northern Shaam has faced over a decade of war, leaving millions displaced and struggling to survive. For many, makeshift tents are the only home they know.

🔸 5.5 million people live in extreme poverty.

🔸 90% of families can’t afford daily meals.

🔸 The 2023 earthquakes left thousands more homeless, worsening the crisis.

🔸 Children should be in school but are struggling just to stay alive.

What Would You Do?

What if your children were crying from hunger?

What if you had no food for suhoor or iftar?

What if your home was gone?

This isn’t just a story. It’s happening right now and together we have the power to change that.

Ramadan in the Shadow of War

For nearly their entire lives, survival is all they’ve known—war, hunger, and loss in an endless cycle.

Every Ramadan, every Eid is no different—just another day fighting to survive.

But that doesn’t mean we stop trying.

Because even in the face of so much hardship, there is still hope.

SEMA’s team is on the ground in Gaza and Bilad Al Shaam distributing suhoor and iftar meals to families who would otherwise go hungry during Ramadan.

A simple meal shows them they’re not forgotten

And at the heart of this life-saving work are people like YOU.

Who believe in compassion.

Who refuse to look away.

Who stand for their brothers and sisters in need.

Last year thanks to your generosity, we distributed suhhor/iftar meals along with emergency aid.

This year, we must do even more.

We must reach more families, provide more meals, and bring more hope.

But we can’t do it alone. We urgently need your continued support to carry on our efforts.

You can be the answer to their duas.

Together, we can break the cycle of hunger and bring them the relief they so desperately need.

The Best Gift This Ramadan for YOU

Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and seeking Allah’s pleasure.

For those in Gaza and Bilad Al Shaam, it’s another test of patience and endurance.

For us, it’s an opportunity.

If you’re reading this, know it’s NOT by chance.

Allah has placed this moment before you—a chance to fill their plates and bring them joy.

What better way to seek His reward than by feeding the hungry, quenching the thirst of the fasting, and easing the suffering of those in need?

✨ The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,
“Ramadan is an honourable and blessed month, and the rewards for generosity are multiplied in it.” (Tirmidhi)

This Ramadan, don’t miss the chance to earn immense rewards. Give for the sake of Allah.

Give for your akhirah.

Share your blessings with Gaza and Al Shaam.
