The situation in Gaza is heartbreaking, with families facing unimaginable losses. Loved ones are being taken away, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

More children have been reported killed in the war raging in Gaza than in four years of conflict around the world.

This loss is more than just numbers; it represents countless stories of families torn apart and dreams shattered.

The Collapse of the Health System

The health system in Gaza, once a lifeline for many, is now in ruins. A staggering 84% of health facilities have been damaged or destroyed, leaving people with nowhere to turn for medical help.

Not only that, the attacks have tragically led to the loss of more than 1,100 healthcare professionals and injuries to more than 900 others. Additionally, approximately 130 ambulances have been destroyed, severely disrupting emergency medical services.

Those killed included:

165 doctors

260 nurses

300 management and support personnel

184 health associate professionals

76 pharmacists

12 other health workers

The situation is dire, with people dying because there is no medical care available. The remaining hospitals are overwhelmed, operating far beyond their capacity. This overcrowding means that the quality and safety of health services are severely compromised.

In the midst of this devastation, SEMA has stepped in to provide much-needed medical assistance. SEMA’s team is dedicated to treating the injured and providing immediate medical attention to those in desperate need.
